Inline with the Gombe State Public Service Reform objectives and effort to fill in existing  manpower gap in the  legislative arm of Government ,Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON,(Danmajen Gombe)has approved  the immediate deployment of thirty five (35) staff  drawn from various MDAs within the State Civil Service to the  State House of Assembly and the House Assembly Service Commission respectively. Gombe First Lady Launches Distribution of Ramadan Palliative to Vulnerable Groups in Gombe State. Wife of Gombe state Governor, Asma'u Inuwa Yahaya has flagged off the distribution of food palliative to vulnerable people and associations across the state with the aim of easing the economic burden during the holy month of Ramadan.  The first lady handed over the food items including rice, cooking oil and pasta to representatives of the 11 local areas, religious groups, people living with disabilities,the executive of the All Progressives Congress(APC)and association of people with sickle cell held at the banquet hall, government house, Gombe state.  28th February, 2025 Ramadan: Gombe Governor Sets Up Palliative Distribution Committees In his continuous effort to provide relief and improve the welfare of citizens, especially, as Ramadan is set to begin, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has appointed, with immediate effect, State Coordinator, Local Government Committee Chairmen, Members, and Ward Committee Members for the 2025 Ramadan Palliative Distribution across the State.  The Secretary to the State Government,  Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi,  who conveyed the governor’s approval, said the development is aimed at ensuring smooth and effective distribution of the relief materials to support the residents during the holy month. In his continued efforts to secure employment opportunities to the youths, the Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Njodi has again secure a Temporary Appointment to Pharmacist Dorcas Samaila with the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe as intern Pharmacist in the Department of Pharmaceutical Services. The SSG had while presenting the appointment letter to the beneficiary Dorcas in the presence of her exciting parents Mr and Mrs Samaila Baba a former PDP and NNPP Chieftain and long standing friend to the SSG admonished her to be dedicated in the discharged of her duty.  Ramadan: Gombe Governor inaugurate committee on palliative distribution. Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has inaugurated a committee to oversee the smooth distribution of the 2025 Ramadan Palliative to the fasting citizens of the State. The inauguration comes as Muslims across the world prepares to begin a month long fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan. Inaugurating the committee on behalf of the State Governor, the secretary to the State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi explain that the ceremony demonstrate the commitment of the present administration in the State to welfare of the people.
