 8th March, 2025  Governor Inuwa Yahaya Hosts Tsangaya Teachers to Iftar …As Forum Crowns Gombe Governor ‘Khadimul Qur’an’ …Lauds Him for Construction of Tsangaya Schools, Free Enrollment of Almajiri into Go-Health Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has hosted the leadership of the Association of Tsangaya teachers from across the state to a special Iftar at the Government House, Gombe.  This was a continuation of the Governor’s tradition of hosting public Iftar for the citizens of the state, an occasion that provides Governor Inuwa Yahaya with another opportunity to deepen his engagement with the Muslim community and promote peace and brotherhood among all. Addressing his guests shortly after the iftar, Governor Inuwa Yahaya reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of Tsangaya teachers and Almajiri children, acknowledging the significance of Qur’anic education in the society. Gombe SSG Secured one Employment @ FTH to a graduate of Pharmacy.


In his continued efforts to secure employment opportunities to the youths, the Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Njodi has again secure a Temporary Appointment to Pharmacist Dorcas Samaila with the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe as intern Pharmacist in the Department of Pharmaceutical Services.


The SSG had while presenting the appointment letter to the beneficiary Dorcas in the presence of her exciting parents Mr and Mrs Samaila Baba a former PDP and NNPP Chieftain and long standing friend to the SSG admonished her to be dedicated in the discharged of her duty.

Reacting to Prof. Njodi's Magnanimity, Mr. Samaila Baba appreciate the SSG noting that the family will forever remain grateful, praying God to reward him aboundantly.

The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been awarded the best performing Chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.  Three Commissioners from the State were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty. The commissioners include; Dr. Engr Usman Maijama'a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M. Umar and Adamu Ibrahim Pantami of the Ministry of Youth and Sports  Development.
