NG-CARES: Gombe SSG distributes items to over 40 beneficiaries 


.....Hails NG- CARES, Governor Inuwa Yahaya for bringing relief to the down trodden.

In an attempt to boost the economic status of the people, the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, distributed business oriented items to over forty beneficiaries in Kaltungo Local Government Area.


Professor Njodi had while distributing the items on Sunday enjoined the beneficiaries to make maximum use of the material noting that when properly utilized it will bring relief and minimize poverty in their individual lives and that of their families.

"I urged you to use the grinding and sewing machines as well as other farm inputs to make money that will enable you to meet your needs and that of your families" Professor Njodi stressed.


He said the present administration under the  leadership of Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is not only committed to providing massive infrastructural Development across the state but is concerned about boosting the living standard of the people.


He added that the collaboration between the Gombe State Government and NG-CARES is aim at boosting the economy through individual empowerment.

Professor Njodi further called for prayers and support for the Inuwa Yahaya led administration noting that he has a lot in stock for the benefit of the people of Kaltungo and Gombe State at large.


Reacting to the gesture, some of the beneficiaries; Mr Samuel Peto Lantarki and Maryam Ahmed expressed gratitude to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and NG- CARES for coming to their aid by providing them with the items which will serve as a start up for businesses.



The beneficiaries assured of judicious utilization of materials and funds to improve their living condition.


They also appreciated the SSG for facilitating the empowerment reiterating their loyalty and support to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa whom they described as a lover of Kaltungo giving his numerous projects executed in Kaltungo LGA.


Items distributed includes;  sewing and grinding machines, fertilizers and insecticide. Twenty other persons received forty thousand naira each to start business of their choices.

The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been awarded the best performing Chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.  Three Commissioners from the State were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty. The commissioners include; Dr. Engr Usman Maijama'a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M.
