NYam Festival (IRI JI): Gombe SSG felicitates with Gombe Igbo community

The Secretary to Gombe State Government and the IKEMBA NDIGBO, Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has felicitate with the Igbo community in the State on the celebration of this year's New Yam festival.
Prof Njodi who was represented at the event by the Senior Special Assistant General Duties to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Yakubu Sarma stressed the need for peace and unity for which the festival represent.
He remarked that the State Government under the leadership of Mohamadu Inuwa Yahaya has created an enabling environment for business to strive and advised Igbos known for their business enterprise to take advantage of the friendly environment and conduct legitimate enterprises.
The SSG further assures the Igbo community in the State of his continued support given his disposition as titled Man within Igbos.
He appreciates the Igbos for their unwavering support to the present administration under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Yakubu Sarma who equally delivered the Deputy Governor's goodwill message and that of the State Accountant General also received on behalf of the State Accountant General Dr Aminu Yuguda a traditional title of " EMHI OHA NDIGBO" Meaning the friend of the Igbos.
The title was given to the State Accountant General base on his immense service to humanity and for his support to the Igbo community.
Both the Deputy Governor Manassah Daniel Jatau, the SSG Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi and the Accountant General of Gombe State Dr Aminu Yuguda made donations to support the Igbo welfare Association the organisers of the event.
The special Adviser to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON on intercommunity relations and guest speaker at the occasion Prince Dr Cornelius Ewuzie Chicmark thanked guests who made it to the occasion and commended Governor Yahaya for his developmental stride in the State.
He stresses the importance of the new Yam festival in Igbo culture and further assured of Igbo's and other none indigenous tribes residing in Gombe of their unrelenting support to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya's led administration.
The event which attracted array of dignitaries has the representative of the Emir of Gombe Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, the commissioner of women affairs Honourable Asama'u Iganus who is equally a ADA UGO NDIGBO and Yusuf Danbayo SSA to Governor Yahaya on security among others.

Farfesa Njodi wanda babban mataimaki na musamman ga Gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya ya wakilta a wajen taron, Yakubu Sarma ya jaddada bukatar zaman lafiya da hadin kai da bikin ke wakilta.
Ya kara da cewa gwamnatin jihar karkashin jagorancin Mohamadu Inuwa Yahaya ta samar da wani yanayi na kasuwanci don jajircewa don haka ya shawarci ‘yan kabilar Igbo da suka shahara da sana’arsu da su yi amfani da yanayin abokantaka da kuma gudanar da sana’o’in da suka dace.
SSG ya kara tabbatarwa al'ummar Igbo dake jihar cigaba da goyon bayan sa bisa la'akari da yadda ya ke da sunan mutum a cikin Igbo.
Ya kuma yabawa ‘yan kabilar Igbo bisa goyon bayan da suke baiwa gwamnati mai ci a karkashin jagorancin Gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Yakubu Sarma wanda shi ma ya isar da sakon fatan alheri na Mataimakin Gwamna da na Babban Akanta Janar na Jiha, ya kuma samu a madadin Akanta Janar na Jiha Dr Aminu Yuguda lakabin gargajiya na " EMHI OHA NDIGBO" Ma'ana abokin kabilar Igbo.
An bai wa Babban Akanta Janar na Jiha lakabin ne bisa ga dimbin hidimar da yake yi wa bil’adama da kuma goyon bayansa ga al’ummar Igbo.
Mataimakin Gwamna Manassa Daniel Jatau da SSG Farfesa Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi da Akanta Janar na Jihar Gombe Dr Aminu Yuguda sun bayar da gudunmawa domin tallafa wa kungiyar jin dadin kabilar Ibo da suka shirya taron.
Mai baiwa Gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON shawara na musamman kan hulda da jama’a kuma babban bako mai jawabi a wajen bikin Prince Dr Cornelius Ewuzie Chicmark ya godewa bakin da suka halarci bikin tare da yabawa Gwamna Yahaya bisa ci gaban da yake samu a jihar.
Ya jaddada mahimmancin wannan sabon bikin Yam a al’adun kabilar Ibo, ya kuma kara tabbatar wa ‘yan kabilar Igbo da sauran ‘yan kabilar Igbo da ke zaune a Gombe bisa goyon bayan da suke bai wa gwamnatin Gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Taron wanda ya dauki hankulan manyan baki ya samu wakilcin Mai Martaba Sarkin Gombe Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, Kwamishiniyar Harkokin Mata Honorabul Asama'u Iganus wacce ita ma ADA UGO NDIGBO da Yusuf Danbayo SSA ga Gwamna Yahaya kan harkokin tsaro da dai sauransu.
