Gwamnan jihar Gombe, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, yanzu haka yana kasar Amurka, inda yake ganawa da manyan hukumomin kasa da kasa da kuma abokan huldar ci gaba a wani bangare na kudirinsa na tabbatar da dorewar ci gaba bisa ajandar sa na ganin jihar ta zama abin koyi. na girma da ci gaba a duk sassan.

Da yake jawabi yayin ziyarar, Gwamna Inuwa Yahaya ya jaddada muhimmancin hadin gwiwar kasa da kasa wajen cimma burin ci gaba mai dorewa, musamman a fannin kiwon lafiya. 


Ya ce, "Manufarmu ita ce gina tsarin kiwon lafiya mai juriya da zai kula da dukkan 'yan kasarmu, kuma ba za mu bar wani abu ba wajen neman goyon bayan duniya don cimma hakan." 


Ya bayyana cewa mayar da hankali kan mayar da harkokin kiwon lafiya wani bangare ne na kokarin da yake yi na ganin tsarin kiwon lafiyar jihar ya biya bukatun al’ummar jihar Gombe, inda ya ce da wadannan kayayyakin jinya da ke tafe, ana sa ran jihar za ta samu ci gaba sosai. a cikin inganci da wadatar ayyukan kiwon lafiya a cikin birane da yankunan karkara.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya Engages International Partners in US to Strengthen Gombe State’s Health Sector


Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, is currently in the United States of America, where he is meeting with key international agencies and development partners as part of his commitment to ensuring sustainable development in line with his agenda of making the state a model of growth and development across all sectors.




The Governor, accompanied by the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Habu Dahiru, and the Chairman of the Gombe State Drug Management Agency (GODMA) Governing Board, Dr. Ismail Musa, visited the headquarters of World Medical Relief in Detroit, Michigan. 


The delegation inspected the medical equipment that the Gombe State government will import  to further strengthen its efforts to elevate medical standards and offer modern solutions to healthcare challenges in the state.


Speaking during the visit, Governor Inuwa Yahaya emphasized the importance of international partnerships in achieving sustainable development goals, particularly in healthcare delivery. 


He said, "Our mission is to build a resilient healthcare system that caters for all our citizens, and we are leaving no stone unturned in seeking global support to achieve this". 


He explained that his focus on repositioning the healthcare delivery is part of his broader efforts to ensure the state’s health system meets the needs of the  growing population of Gombe State, adding that with these upcoming medical supplies, the state is expected to witness a significant improvement in the quality and availability of healthcare services across both urban and rural areas.

The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been awarded the best performing Chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.  Three Commissioners from the State were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty. The commissioners include; Dr. Engr Usman Maijama'a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M.
