Gombe Fiscal Responsibility chair visit SSG Gombe
...says commission committed to innovative ideas to prop social and economic activities in the State.

The chairman of the Gombe State Responsibility and Fiscal Commission Umar Babagoro Bello says the commission will continue to evolve new strategies aimed at improving the social and economic dimensions of the State.
Babagoro Bello stated this when he led members of the commission on a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
He explained that since the establishment of the Responsibility Commission in 2018, the corporate body has engage in the assessment of micro environment and enforcing laws tailored towards the promotion of economic activities in the State.
He reveals that the commission is empowered by the Fiscal Responsibility law of Gombe State to compel individuals and corporate bodies to disclose their financial dealings and can place penalties on any entity found to have contravene the law.
He commended Governor Mahammadu Inuwa Yahaya for giving priority to the commission which distinguishes it from its pairs across the country.
While commending the Gombe State Governor for giving them the opportunity to serve in the commission, Babagoro Bello assures unwavering commitment to serve without fear or favor.
Responding the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi affirm that it was in the spirit of transparency and accountability that the State domesticated the Responsibility Commission from the Federal Government.
He said the Inuwa Yahaya's administration is committed to prudence in government hence his desire to domesticate commission knowing fully well that it can act as an anti graft agency.
"There is nothing to hide when it comes to issue of governance, if actually we are serving the people we shouldn't be seen to be hiding anything".
The SSG challenges the commission to continually beam their searchlight on government entities so as to ensure that their activities are carried out in line with laid down procedures.
On the commission request for operational vehicles, Improve running costs, need for permanent staff, ICT and other logistics, the SSG directed the chairman to make it formal for possible government action.
Present at the courtesy visit are the Permanent Secretary/ Director General Bureau of Public Service Reforms Abubakar Hassan, Perm Sec SS& Pol Salihu Adamu Sambo and directors of the SSGs office.

Shugaban Hukumar Kula da Kudi da Kudi ta Jihar Gombe Umar Babagoro Bello ya ce hukumar za ta ci gaba da samar da sabbin dabaru da nufin inganta zamantakewa da tattalin arzikin jihar.
Babagoro Bello ya bayyana haka ne a lokacin da ya jagoranci mambobin hukumar a ziyarar ban girma da suka kai wa sakataren gwamnatin jihar Gombe Farfesa Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
Ya bayyana cewa, tun lokacin da aka kafa hukumar da ke da alhakin gudanar da ayyuka a shekarar 2018, kungiyar ta tsunduma cikin aikin tantance kananan mahalli da kuma aiwatar da dokokin da suka dace da inganta harkokin tattalin arziki a jihar.
Ya bayyana cewa dokar da ta shafi kasafin kudi ta jihar Gombe ta baiwa hukumar ikon tilasta wa daidaikun mutane da kungiyoyi su bayyana yadda suke gudanar da harkokinsu na kudi kuma za su iya sanya hukunci a kan duk wanda aka samu ya saba wa doka.
Ya yabawa Gwamna Mahammadu Inuwa Yahaya bisa baiwa hukumar fifiko da ta bambanta ta da ma’aurata a fadin kasar nan.
Da yake yabawa gwamnan jihar Gombe bisa ba su damar yin aiki a hukumar, Babagoro Bello ya bada tabbacin yin hidima ba tare da tsoro ko son rai ba.
Da yake mayar da martani sakataren gwamnatin jihar Gombe Farfesa Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi ya tabbatar da cewa bisa gaskiya da rikon amana ne jihar ta mayar da kwamitin riko daga gwamnatin tarayya.
Ya ce gwamnatin Inuwa Yahaya ta himmatu wajen yin taka-tsan-tsan a cikin gwamnati don haka burinsa na komawa gida yana sane da cewa za ta iya aiki a matsayin hukumar yaki da cin hanci da rashawa.
“Ba abin da za a boye idan ana maganar mulki, idan da gaske muna yi wa jama’a hidima bai kamata a ga mun boye komai ba”.
SSG ta kalubalanci hukumar da ta ci gaba da haskakawa hukumomin gwamnati domin tabbatar da cewa an gudanar da ayyukansu kamar yadda aka tsara.
Dangane da bukatar hukumar ta samar da motocin da ake amfani da su, inganta farashin aiki, bukatuwar ma’aikata na dindindin, ICT da sauran kayan aiki, SSG ta umurci shugaban hukumar da ya tabbatar da matakin da gwamnati ta dauka.
Wadanda suka halarci wannan ziyarar ban girma sun hada da Babban Sakatare/Darekta Janar na ofishin sake fasalin ma’aikatan gwamnati Abubakar Hassan, Perm Sec SS&Pol Salihu Adamu Sambo da daraktocin ofishin SSGs.
