 8th March, 2025  Governor Inuwa Yahaya Hosts Tsangaya Teachers to Iftar …As Forum Crowns Gombe Governor ‘Khadimul Qur’an’ …Lauds Him for Construction of Tsangaya Schools, Free Enrollment of Almajiri into Go-Health Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has hosted the leadership of the Association of Tsangaya teachers from across the state to a special Iftar at the Government House, Gombe.  This was a continuation of the Governor’s tradition of hosting public Iftar for the citizens of the state, an occasion that provides Governor Inuwa Yahaya with another opportunity to deepen his engagement with the Muslim community and promote peace and brotherhood among all. Gombe Governor Commiserates with Zulum, Borno Govt over Demise of Finance Commissioner 


Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has conveyed his condolences to the government and people of Borno State over the demise of Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Ahmed Ali Ahmed, who passed away today, Monday in Maiduguri at the age of 42.


In his message of condolence, Governor Inuwa expressed deep sadness over the loss, sharing in the grief of Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, as well as the family members, colleagues, and friends of the late commissioner.


He described the late Alhaji Ahmed as a fine gentleman, a distinguished banker, committed public servant, and a remarkable politician whose impact was widely recognized across Borno State and beyond.  


Governor Inuwa Yahaya prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased a place in Aljannat Firdaus and bring solace to those he left behind.

The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been awarded the best performing Chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.  Three Commissioners from the State were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty. The commissioners include; Dr. Engr Usman Maijama'a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M.
