English Translation

Primary students of Gombe local government have become champions in the sports competition held for primary students of the entire Gombe state.



The Chairman of the Gombe local government and the chairman of ALGON, Barr. Sani Ahmad gave gifts to the primary school students who won the football competition of the primary schools and the whole of Gombe state and those who won the running competition.


The president also congratulated the teachers of the children who trained the children to achieve this success and gave the students the courage to succeed in the North East region of Nigeria.

The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been awarded the best performing Chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.  Three Commissioners from the State were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty. The commissioners include; Dr. Engr Usman Maijama'a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M. Umar and Adamu Ibrahim Pantami of the Ministry of Youth and Sports  Development.
