Gombe first lady Flags-off distribution of educational materials to Schools across Gombe State

 In a laudable effort to bolster education in Gombe State, **Hajiya Asmau Inuwa Yahaya**, the wife of the state governor, has initiated the distribution of educational materials to schools spread across the eleven local government areas. The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Gombe State University Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta has paid tribute to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya's unwavering commitment towards the advancement of higher education in the State especially as it affects the State own premier institution. The Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been awarded the best performing Chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.  Three Commissioners from the State were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty. The commissioners include; Dr. Engr Usman Maijama'a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M. Umar and Adamu Ibrahim Pantami of the Ministry of Youth and Sports  Development.
